Clipped to be undone. 

Garter belts are so sexy because they are a one-snap invitation to unraveling. To dishevelment.  One unclip and the stockings fall.  It's one of my favorite images; the slinky, slouchy, falling down stocking.  In the mess of surrender that says: do me now. 

Notching it up here is the pairing of precious gems fastened to garters.  For this V magazine shoot, photographer Coppi Barbieri and stylist Bay Garnett teamed up to create these sex-meets-luxury looks.  The brooches are from the likes of Bulgari, Boucheron and Chanel. 

Who's to say that even underpinnings needn't be extravagant and utterly over the top?
