In the Voyeur issue, Christina Voss wrote about Pietro Aretino's I Modi, or Positions, a set of pornographic prints first printed during the sixteenth century, and reprinted (reworked, and re-imagined) over the centuries that followed.  This is the frontispiece to The French Aretino, as it's called, published in London in 1787.
